Description
Frame is not 'sleek', perfect looking, refined. There are nicks from size and weight and having been moved from galleries or shows. This Frame is custom-built, sturdy, repurposed and repainted, pine frame, painted black. The back of frame is covered/backed by thin wood paneling and is flush with the painting frame.
These original oil stick paintings were all created 'freehand'; the oil sticks were applied directly with hands/fingers. They are meant to be vibrant, whimsical, expressive, bold images- not precise nor realistic. This is original 'raw art' that borderlines on folk art
