Wet Women | Art Portfolio

Out of inspiration for her love for the water and windsurfing, Morgan Fisher created WET WOMEN, LLC in 2004. WET WOMEN™ is about supporting, motivating, advocating, and promoting women in water sports across the world in a fun and caviler way! 

Morgan created artwork for and inspired by WET WOMEN™.  She created original woodcuts, paintings, linocuts, and giclees with Wet Women™ and Wet Women™ Surf Wax for both marketing and original art sales. She continues to include it (with its spirit and intention) in Coastal Sol™ series in paintings and in paintings and giclees and for Wet Women, LLC. 

Like her other woodcut images of women and animals, the Die Bruke Germanic style of woodcut process and imagery heavily influence Morgan’s style through art school printmaking; later it continued to influence her printmaking created for Wet Women™ and other projects.  She enjoys their style of  exaggeration, distortion, bold color and line, primitivism, and sometimes crude qualities that create nontraditional and more interesting perspective of women, animals, nature. She enjoys the group’s nontraditional approach in evoking a mood or idea that is more natural to her own perspective and style.
