AFTERGLOW | PAPER GICLEE

AFTERGLOW | PAPER GICLEE

Description

AFTERGLOW was created on Maui by Morgan Fisher.

This is part of a number of images inspired by the surf and wave riding lifestyle and for Wet Women™ and Wet Women™ Surf Wax marketing, beginning in 2004. Fun, bold, expressively created art, advocating women in surf culture and Wet Women!

TOMAR EL SOL (original name | aka 'sunbathe' | to take in the sun). The playfulness around 'afterglow' is an important part of the Wet Women™ cavalier way.  The significance of both ‘the mildly euphoric feeling experienced after a pleasurable experience’ and a ‘glow in the sky after sunset’ both define this image title, feel and intent.

The Fine art, paper giclée paper print is a reproduction from the original Japanese-style, hand-rubbed woodcut by Morgan Fisher created for WET WOMEN. giclées are printed in small editions at a time, on high quality, glossy, satin, smooth giclee paper from a 12 color giclée printer
